Description
Fremont Dog Training Club (FDTC) is a nonprofit organization run by its club membership. We are dedicated to helping our canine friends, as well as ourselves, become better members of the community. FDTC has been in the Tri-City area for over 25 years and is a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Association of Obedience Clubs of Northern California (AOCNC). Each year, our organization holds a fun match and an AKC-Sanctioned Obedience Trial. Over 500 dogs participate in these events each year. FDTC welcomes all dogs - purebred and mixed breeds alike. All classes held at FDTC's training facility - excluding the beginning course - operate on a drop-in, week-by-week basis. Each class is designed to teach specific obedience exercises. However, we also provide helpful tips on eliminating bad behavior habits, such as chewing, digging, barking, howling, fear of people, soiling, aggression, and jumping up on people. At FDTC we never forget to PRAISE and REWARD our dogs!
