Fremont Realty Capital is the real estate merchant banking arm of Fremont Group. The firm originates, structures, closes and manages private equity investments in public and unique individual real estate projects, programmatic real estate investment vehicles and private real estate operating companies. Fremont Realty Capital is led by Claude Zinngrabe, Steven Karpf, Frederick Zarrilli and Matthew Reidy who each have, on average, more than 25 years of real estate and principal investing experience. Prior to co-founding Fremont Realty Capital, Mr. Zinngrabe, Jr. founded and headed Prudential Home Building Investors, Inc., and served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Real Estate Investors, the institutional real estate investment management division of the Prudential Insurance Company of America. Prior to joining Fremont Realty Capital, Mr. Karpf was co-founder and President of Karpf, Zarrilli & Co., Incorporated, a New York-based real estate investment and advisory firm and was a long time executive at Eastdil Realty, a New York-based real estate investment banking firm, where he served as an Executive Vice President, a member of the Management Committee and Board of Directors, and senior shareholder.
