Frieders Farm

Description

The Frieders family has been farming in Illinois since 1851. Ron began farming with his father, Roy, in 1970. Two years later he married Denise and she became an integral part of the operation. They have three adult children: Daun, Ryan, and Dean. Ryan graduated from North Central College in March of 1998 with a degree in finance. He is continuing the family business. In December 2005, Ryan completed his MS in Crop Science at the University of Illinois. Dean is an associate at Mickey, Wilson, Weiler, Renzi & Andersson in Aurora, IL. Daun is a University of Illinois graduate and is the science department chair at Maine South High School in Park Ridge, IL.
