A series of colliding circumstances mixed with a number of maverick individuals and with the further addition of serious effort, the Friendly story began.Back in 1995 Udi Peless was concluding a previous business venture and like most men after a hard weeks work the thought of cutting the grass on a Saturday was about as appealing as watching the grass grow. "Hey", said his wife "Get out there and cut the grass". Needless to say the reply was short but honest; "I don't like doing it" said Peless. "You're that smart so why don't you just make a machine that does it for you".Peless joined with a founding partner, Shai Abramson, and Friendly Machines, as it was known then, was formed. The name of the company was later changed to Friendly Robotics
