Friona Industries began when we opened Friona Feedyard in 1962. Since then, we have grown to own four state-of-the-art feedyards with a total feeding capacity of over 290,000 head . We may have grown, but our philosophy remains the same...do the job right and bring a more valued product to the beef industry and to our production system.

Friona Industries, L. P. began as single small feedyard in 1962 and has progressed to become one of the leading cattle feeding businesses in the world. The Friona of today has four state of the art commercial cattle feeding facilities with one time capacity of 290,000 head, which form the base of a vertically aligned production system that creates a consistent, reliable, safe, tender and flavorful fresh branded product line that is marketed in 2300 of the top retail stores in the U.S.

Randall County Feedyard is dedicated to developing the most efficient cattle production system to deliver a consistent beef supply that meets the highest expectation for safety, taste, and tenderness. This feedyard has exceptional facilities with two new state-of-the-art covered hospital barns and processing areas, as well as three receiving and shipping facilities with scales strategically positioned to reduce stress on incoming and outgoing cattle. Friona Feedyard offers all cattle feeding services from preconditioning calves through final finishing for slaughter. Friona Feedyard has good facilities with excellent drainage. The facility is located in close proximity to some of the finest farm land in the Texas Panhandle and has access to a wide variety of feed ingredients including corn silage and cotton by-products.
