From the Islands L.L.C. was established in 2003. The owner Max has experience in the import business for over 15 years. His background in Cultural Anthropology brought him to Indonesia where he has been living for the last 27 years. He continously sources fine handcrafted products all over Indonesia, building good relationships with craftmen, artists and other suppliers. From there all different kind of unique products are shipped to Sedona, Arizona where he now lives eight months out of the year.
