Frontera Produce Ltd. was established in July 1993 by Jim Steele. Jim had worked as a box supplier in the industry and had established many contacts in the growing and retail worlds. Realizing the potential of success for a shipper in the area, and the volume demands, Jim brought in his son, Will Steele, as a partner. Together they, and a core group of long time employees, have built Frontera into one of the produce industry leaders.Here at Frontera we pride ourselves in providing end to end service for our customers that generates the highest returns to our growers. Our mission is to provide the highest level of customer services to our end customer by continuing to challenge our growers, our vendors and ourselves each day to set the standards and strive for excellence.
