FSPMR continues to move forward with the mission of representing and promoting education of our specialty in the public and political arena. We are actively involved with legislative issues that affect our specialty and patients. Involvement in the public, political and legislative process is imperative not only for the future success of our specialty but for the patients we serve. Our multi-specialty medical practice is currently seeking a Board Certified Physiatrist. The position would include performing consultations and treating any disability resulting from injury, both spinal or extremities. As you can see from our website, www.citimed.com we have over Fifteen (15) years of experience in providing top quality medical care.

· Have the opportunity to provide consulting services (no call) to the trauma care unit at the local hospital as a part of their overall contract for rehab services. There’s also the possibility of providing consultation services to regional nursing homes under contract with one of our other affiliates. Neither of these options are critical but represent an opportunity to enhance the practice and develop strong referral relationships. For a “start-up” a very good idea, and revenue generators for an entrepreneurial physician.

FSPMR is a Florida medical society, founded in 1962, representing the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), an organization exclusively serving the needs of PM&R physicians, also known as “physiatrists” (fizz ee at’ trist).

· Founded in 1984 this PT system today provides comprehensive physical, occupational and speech therapy services, specializing in the treatment of orthopedic, sports, hand, and industrial injuries. · Has been consistently recognized as a center of excellence by FOTO, the national outcomes database for rehabilitation services.
