Funchess, Mills, White & Co., PC is one of the largest CPA and business development consulting firms in Southeast Texas. The Firm as it exists today was formed in 1985, although its connections with predecessor firms date back to the early 1940s when Ozzie Maschek and Woodie Hamby formed a partnership to practice public accounting. Mr. Maschek held Texas CPA certificate #184 and was a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.Our professional objectives are to provide the highest quality of service on a timely basis. For every client, a principal is primarily responsible for the needs of that client. Our Firm practices as a Team, however, and as special needs are identified or specific expertise is required, we are able to use the knowledge and experience of the entire Firm. This allows us to solve our clients' problems both efficiently and effectively.Our Firm feels that staying abreast of current developments is of utmost importance. Therefore, we have dedicated significant resources to continuing professional education for all Team members. Each accountant, not just the CPAs, participates in at least forty hours of continuing education each year.
