Description

For the past several years our family has taught elementary students Spanish after school and during week-long camps. We have taught over 200 students from public school, private school, and homeschool (with our daughter being one of the latter). Our two major goals have always been: 1) to get families involved in learning together, and 2) to make the first exposure children have with a foreign language a fun experience that they will look back on fondly, while laying a solid foundation for future language study. We have combined these two goals and have come up with an exciting format for foreign language study in our classrooms as well as in our video curriculum. We incorporate crafts, songs, cooking, and story telling along with the academic portion of language study in order to offer a well-rounded program. Sounds like fun doesn't it?
