Funky Frum is an online boutique catering to fashion-savvy women committed to a modest lifestyle. Founded in 2005 by Rachel Lubchansky (formerly Rachel Milder), we cater to the broad spectrum of women who delight in the art of dressing modestly without forgoing their femininity and style. Our discriminating taste and keen eye are reflected in the unique, funky, fun and tasteful pieces offered on the site. Upon relocating to St. Louis (her hometown) in 2002, Lubchansky realized a void in the market of women's modest clothing and set out to fill it. Self serving, one might say But in fact, she empowers women throughout the country with feminine, youthful and stylish modest apparel in her online boutique. Lubchansky brings a passion for fashion, an entrepreneurial sense, and a commitment to a modest Jewish lifestyle with her to Funky Frum. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she graduated with a B.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications. Her experience in the fashion and design industries ranging from public relations and marketing to buying and merchandising allowed her to gain a wide realm of knowledge of the business. Our goal at Funky Frum is to provide our clients with fashionable modest clothing options regardless of the season or where they live.
