The G.A.T.E. program is a school based classroom curriculum taught by law enforcement officers and prevention specialists. The program’s goals are the prevention of gang activity, youth violence and drug use among young people. G.A.T.E. lessons and programs focus on whole life skills, social norms and critical thinking to teach young people to avoid delinquent behavior and to solve problems through non-violent means. The G.A.T.E. program consists of multiple components, grammar school , middle school , high school , family training, school personnel training and law enforcement officer training. GATE America’s on going project is to interrupt youth violence and end the cycle of criminality that is plaguing America’s pre-teens and teenagers. GATE America, Incorporated also has a strong commitment to our law enforcement agencies across the nation. Our goal is to provide up-to-date training in areas of gang identification and prevention, violence prevention in schools , officer safety , investigations and terrorism preparedness .
