GCA, Incorporated has been providing commercial contracting services since 1981. With major emphasis on commercial interior construction, GCA has completed over 3,000,000 square feet of space. This division is staffed with professionals who have developed proven systems for the specialized requirements of interior construction. Coordinating with tenants, landlords, architects, designers, and engineers its experience focuses on getting the tenant space completed on time and within budget. GCA’s lengthy client list includes numerous national building management firms and Fortune 500 companies as well as banks, retail outlets, medical facilities, houses of worship, restaurants, schools and government facilities. GCA, Incorporated has also performed construction management services for high profile projects, most notably the Colonnade in Coral Gables, a 500,000 square foot mixed use development including a luxury hotel, class A office space, retail and parking garage with a total development cost of $84,000,000. Following the hurricanes in 1992, 2004 and 2005 which damaged numerous home and businesses in South Florida, GCA was involved in extensive restoration and renovation work on damaged structures. At the request of existing clients and because of its reputation for quality work, GCA was completed restoration for over 100 residential clients in 1992. From 2004 through 2006 GCA contracted for approximately $5,000,000 of commercial restoration. Principal owner and founder of the company is J. Carlos Santeiro. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction, a licensed General Contractor since 1978 and a licensed real estate broker.
