Welcome to this section of our new website that is best suited to the different information needs of investors and financial partners. I take this opportunity to reiterate our confidence about GLV’s outlook for the mid term and long term, even if we remain cautious as to our short-term horizon given the current state of the global economy. I don’t believe that the economic turmoil is over yet. However, I am confident that we have taken the right steps and that we will continue to make the necessary decisions to consolidate and reinforce GLV’s foundations.

Gwen Klees, a Bachelor of Civil Law and a member of the Québec Bar, was appointed Vice President Legal Affairs, Risk Management and Corporate Secretary for GLV Inc. in June 2013. Prior to this appointment, Mrs. Klees was Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary since May 15, 2007. She joined Groupe Laperrière & Verreault inc. ("GL&V") in 2003 as Director, Legal Affairs and was appointed General Counsel of GL&V in 2006.

William Mahoney, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, has more than 28 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry. He joined Groupe Laperrière & Verreault Inc. ("GL&V") in 2000 upon the acquisition of some of the operations of Beloit Corporation, where he had worked for several years. Since joining GL&V, he has held various senior positions within the Pulp and Paper Group. In 2008, he was promoted to President, Pulp and Paper Group with a mandate to develop this group globally.

Marc Barbeau, CPA, C.A., and Master in Taxation, was appointed Executive Vice President of GLV Inc. and President of Ovivo (Water Treatment Group) in June 2012. Prior to this appointment, Mr Barbeau was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GLV Inc. since February 2007. After acquiring 10 years of experience with a major accounting firm, he joined GL&V in 2000 as Director, Treasury and Taxation, also in charge of financing activities.
