A client in the cell phone industry turned to G.F. Cole Corporation for touch panel adhesives, created using our high speed kiss cutting process. Our state-of-the-art rotary press was employed to process the 3M 9495LE adhesive material to bond the lens to the phone, and maintained tolerances of ±.003". We ensured quality with kiss cut verification testing as well as documented dimensional CMM measuring device inspections. We are able to kiss cut custom sheets as well as continuous rolls, in specialized shapes and sizes as required by our customer.

A customer in the medical industry contracted G.F. Cole Corporation to fabricate a valve gasket using our precision high-speed die cutting process. We utilized our advanced high speed punch press to manufacture the gasket from silicone, maintaining a dimensional tolerance of ±.005" and a thickness tolerance of ±.002". We performed a documented caliper inspection to ensure quality, then cleaned and packaged the units for stocking. 600,000 pieces are produced annually for this client, shipping the product from our facility with JIT deliveries. A customer in the Aerospace industry needed a company with the capabilities for large part die cutting, contracting G.F. Cole Corporation to fabricate a custom fluorosilicone gasket for use in their electronic enclosures. We manufactured this unit employing our 150 ton four post press, with its 40" x 80" cutting surface, and ability to maintain tolerances of ±.010". Quality assurance was provided with documented dimensional caliper inspections. This gasket was engineered in two pieces, efficiently utilizing the expensive fluorosilicone compound for a significant cost reduction.

Various widths were required and ranged in size from 0.125" to 58",all were cut to tolerances of ±.010". We also provided a pressure sensitive adhesive backing to permanently laminate the sponge. Quality of the lamination was verified by adhesive bond peel testing. Dimensional inspection with calipers was also carried out and documented to assure accuracy. We process 75,000' of product annually for this customer, which includes cleaning and storage for JIT deliveries.
