In 2000, this legendary yard embarked on a new chapter when Rory Cowan, longtime summer resident of this peninsula, purchased the business. Under the leadership of Yard Manager Steve Morris, a new marina has been put in, a new large storage and repair building has been built, the old storage building has been removed, and a second large heated storage building has been built. Today Gamage Shipyard is proud to carry on its long heritage while providing state-of-the-art services in modern facilities.
