Description

This GANE client is the Houston corporate office of a large multi-disciplined engineering consulting and surveying firm. This ENR-ranked and award winning firm provides surveying and mapping services to public and private clients across Texas. These surveys and maps are prepared for use in a broad range of architectural and engineering design projects, including land development, facilities, commercial, residential, transportation, highway, bridge, utility, and drainage projects.

John Griffing works in GANE’s Austin office. He is a successful senior recruiter with twenty years of professional placement experience in Texas. Before joining GANE John’s experience includes serving as Practice Director with Spherion Professional Recruiting where he received national recognition for his management of strategic recruiting projects with large national clients. He was also awarded Spherion’s Leaders Recognition Award as a top producer.

A few years of civil engineering design experience with H&H and water resources with an engineering firm is mandatory. Experience in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and ICPR is desired. Knowledge of design standards within the greater Houston area is desired. A BSCE and an Engineering-in-Training certification or recent Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas are also required.

They seek an experienced Survey CAD Technician to add to their growing staff. A minimum of five (5) years of experience using MicroStation to develop Topographic Design Surveys, Digital Terrain Models and Right-of-Way Maps is required. GEOPAK, AutoCAD and Carlson Survey experience will be a plus.
