GAR Services continues to provide a full time instructor through grant funding to meet the needs of our Multi-Cultural clients at GAR Services. The Multi-Cultural Program goal is to provide services to non-English speaking clients that will promote optimal assimilation into the work environment by recognizing and addressing distinct cultural needs and develop each client’s ability to function in the workplace and in the community.
North Los Angeles County Regional Center is a private, non-profit organization providing services and supports to persons with developmental disabilities and their families in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys for over 30 years.
Our mission is to provide developmentally disabled adults the opportunity-through residential, vocational and educational programs-to participate in mainstream community life and attain their highest levels of independence.
Building on GAR Services’ strengths and successful history of providing quality services to its clients, we will expand current programming to increase opportunities for greater self-sufficiency, improved productivity, and integration.
