We have extensive experience with all aspects of domestic and international tax planning for foreign investors in United States businesses and U.S. owned companies doing business in other countries. We are able to provide direct assistance in countries outside the United States that a company has operations. Extensive experience with compliance work associated with IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDI).

The administrative team consists of Susan Fitzgerald - Office Manager, Amy Clearwater - Billing Supervisor, and our administrative assistants are Jan Hall, Debbie Mallen, Sue North and Rachel Gross. Most of our administrative staff have been with the firm for over 20 years and some are approaching 30 years of service.

David Wenzel has been with Garcia & Ortiz since 1987 and has extensive experience in planning, supervision, and preparation of financial statements, including audits, reviews and compilations. He also provides consulting services to business clients and reviews tax returns for businesses, individuals and retirement plans. He formerly served as Controller for a large developer and a large manufacturer, responsible for all financial matters including financial statement and tax reporting, EDP system implementation, staff supervision, and budgets.
