The MBMA has served as the voice of a large concerned manufacturer base for over 50 years. Founded in 1956, the MBMA requires that all its member companies abide by a strict code of industry standards that create and maintain the highest level of quality. Membership in the MBMA is not required. However, Garco has been a member as a metal building systems manufacturer for over 30 years because Garco believes in the leadership and research the association provides for the metal buildings industry.

Garco is committed to supplying our customers’ products that support green building programs. In participation with NCI, we will continue to invest in research, development and testing, which will allow us to provide innovative green solutions for our customers and the end users we serve.

When NCI launched its Green Building Initiative, it was clear that the best opportunity to impact our communities would be through our customers ? the designers, builders and developers who use our products. Today, NCI and Garco’s priority is helping our customers reach their green building project objectives by providing ideas, education and solutions. Our sales and customer service professionals can assist customers in selecting and properly incorporating products into their building projects, which can ultimately earn credits toward green building certifications.

Cool Metal Roofing Coalition: The Cool Metal Roofing Coalition was founded in 2002 by five industry trade associations to help the public understand the business and environmental rationale for specifying cool metal roofing systems. The Coalition educates architects, building owners, specifiers, codes and standards officials, and other stakeholders about the sustainable, energy-related benefits of metal roofing.

Garco Building Systems is a premier manufacturer of custom designed steel structures. Since 1958, we have been exclusively engaged in design, manufacturing and distribution of steel building systems.
