Ten years ago, we discovered Old Naples. We had taken a month off in the middle of winter and traveled south from our beloved Martha's Vineyard with hopes of finding a winter home for Gardner Colby Gallery. We strolled up and down the Third Street shopping district and were overwhelmed by the beautiful shops, the fabulous flowers and majestic fountains that give this most elegant shopping district in Naples its very special cache. It didn't take long to make the decision that yes, Old Naples was where we wanted to open our Florida gallery. Smart move. Gardner Colby Galleries are located in the heart Old Naples on "Gallery Row". We have been featured many times in prestigious publications such as Arts & Antiques ("Traveling Collector" series), American Art Collector and Fine Art Connossieur magazines. We represent an exceptional group of living American and International artists and sculptors, among the most renowned working in the country today; artists whose work will be revered well into the next century. Owner Nancy Winch graduated from Hollins University with a dual degree in in French and Art History. Her love of art was formed during her matriculation, when she lived and studied in Paris, France for a year. After 15 years in the Public Relations and Advertising business in Boston, she decided to finally take advantage of that love of art, combining it with her business acumen, and she and her husband, Tony, also a veteran of the ad business in Boston, opened Gardner...
