I graduated from Northern Illinois University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Psychology. Shortly after graduation, I started my career in early childhood education and have loved every moment since. I now have over 15 years of managerial experience in the early childhood industry and could not imagine doing anything else. Every day is rewarding – from the smiles and hugs I receive from the students to seeing the look on a child’s face as they learn a new concept or begin to read! Our Herndon school will offer year-round full and part-time childcare with early childhood education programs for children six weeks old through private Pre-K. In addition, we will also provide a full suite of enrichment classes and our summer camp, Camp Gardner. All of our lead teachers have four year degrees in early childhood education, elementary education or a closely related field. The stimulating, creative and educationally engineered school has been designed to meet the needs of our most important client... the children. Attention to detail both inside and outside the classroom is what makes The Gardner School a very special place for young children.

My name is Allison Deutsch, and I am the Executive School Director at The Gardner School of Glenview-Northbrook. With 25 years of experience in education, I am extremely excited to join The Gardner School team as we expand into the North Shore community.
