The Garrett Group is a San Francisco headquartered structured financial advisory and consulting firm, with Asian offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, and with other clients in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Malaysia, as well as many European countries, specializing in advice and financing to the global semiconductor industry, including suppliers, banks, and lenders, all taking advantage of our conventional as well as proprietary structures designed to provide operating flexibility and lower cost of ownership for capital equipment through programs such as our patent pending Scaleable Production and Test Capacity® which provide variable pricing on a functional pay-per-use or per unit (wafer, implant, test second, etc.) basis, converting the fixed cost of depreciation to a form of revenue sharing, rentals, off balance sheet operating leases, or simple loans or even providing an entire factory within a factory by bundling labor and inventory costs into our variable pricing model helping to stabilize margins, improve market share, and return on investment in cyclical environments combined with our asset management expertise.
