November 19, 2009 The Boosterthon Fun Run is an interactive, community-based event that promotes three specific values: Fitness, Education, and Character. Thank you to all of our sponsors for making this student activity a success! Students and teachers really enjoyed the fun run! Gateway Charter School and Charter Schools USA have embarked upon a character education program called STRIVE for Greatness that will challenge our students to do what is right, do their best, and make a positive difference in their school and community. STRIVE is a program created by the Clarion Council for Educational Greatness and is designed to help schools partner with parents to reinforce important, non-religious moral values. Our school has been chosen to be a part of a three-year pilot to develop this exciting program.
