Description
We would like to offer our most sincere condolences on the passing of Prof. Philip Stephens on July 31, 2012 in Los Angeles. Born in West Bromwich, UK in 1940, Stephens was widely renowned for his innovations and advances in VCD spectroscopy. He was inducted in 2008 as a Fellow of the Royal Society . Stephens studied at Oxford as a student of A.D. Buckingham, and was Professor of Chemistry at USC for over 40 years.
