Chartered by New York State in 1977, the Gestalt Center of Long Island is dedicated to providing high quality post-graduate training in Gestalt psychotherapy to counselors, social workers and mental health professionals. Our mission is to train Gestalt therapists of excellence for our Long Island community and our world. Gestalt psychotherapy is a humanistic, experiential approach to therapy and counseling that is different from other psychotherapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychoanalysis. If you are a psychotherapist, social worker, mental health counselor or other professional in the mental health field seeking additional training, CEU credits, or New York State license certification, the Gestalt Center of Long Island has a training program in Gestalt psychology and Gestalt theory that will enhance your professional skills and bring aliveness and growth to your life.
