Q. Do you have open calls? A. No, we do not have open calls. If we are interested in seeing a monologue, we will invite you to audition. Q. What kind of talent do you represent? A. The West Hollywood office represents adult actors for film, television and theatre. The Chicago office represents adults and children actors for film, television, theatre, commercials, voice-over and print. Q. How do I submit? A. The West Hollywood and Chicago office accept pictures and resumes by mail. We will respond ONLY if we are interested in setting up an audition. To read more about this go to our new talent page. Q. How much does it cost? A. There is no charge for representation, but a 10% commission on all Union bookings (SAG, AFTRA, AEA) and a 20% commission on print bookings will be due. Q. Do you represent radio personalities? A. The Chicago office does represent radio personalities who are interested in having a voice-over career separate from their radio station. Q. Why haven't I heard anything since I sent in my headshot and resume? A. If you have not heard from us within approximately 6 weeks, you can assume we are not interested at this time. We encourage all talent to resubmit to us again in six months or when you have additional credits on your resume. Q. How do I get a work permit for my child? A. For California:The California office only handles adults. For Illinois:The Illinois Sate Board of Education issues work permits. Actors Please submit your headshot and resume through our mailing addresses. We do not accept submissions via email. Feel free to send your demo reel along if you have one to the Chicago office. If we are interested in having you come in for an audition or meeting, we will phone you. Please do not call Geddes to follow up on your submission. Send your submission through the U.S. Postal Service or Fed Ex/UPS if you would like to track it. If you do not hear back from us, please feel free to resubmit in six months. Please note that the West Hollywood office does not accept demo tapes or CD's along with a picture and resume submission. We will phone to request one, if we feel it's appropriate. Voice Over Talent (Chicago Office Only) We do listen to everything we receive unless it is sent via mp3. Please submit your demo and resume with all contact information on both pieces. Unfortunately, we are unable to take the time to respond to each submission. If you don't hear from us within a reasonable period of time, please resubmit in 6 months. Please do not call Geddes to follow up on your voice-over submission.
