Description

Gemini was formed in 1986 as the defense electronics build up of the Eighties was winding down. Production requirements were replaced by engineering requirements. Buyers were inundated by engineers requisitioning small quantities of many different components that they needed yesterday. The catalog houses that specialize in servicing small engineering requirements lacked the mil spec inventory & expertise to service these requirements effectively. Large distributors grew larger through consolidations (that continue to this day) yet their interest in servicing these typically small, "need it yesterday" requirements diminished. We responded to these opportunities with sourcing flexibility, product expertise and commitment to quality. In most cases we provided customers with solutions from stock. The loyal customer base we built rewarded us by giving us the opportunity to service their production requirements as well.
