Gene & Valerie Johnson founded Gene Johnson Plumbing in 1976 as a husband and wife team. Gene worked as a plumber in the field, while Valerie has been an integral part of the company's success by efficiently running the office. Envisioning changes in the plumbing field, Valerie first computerized the accounting system in 1987 and implemented our first computerized dispatch system in 1992. Through the years, Gene Johnson Plumbing has grown from a small two-person operation to a reputable plumbing company with twelve plumbing trucks on the road. Gene and Val, married for thirty-five years, also have five children who all work for the company. Recently, Gene has gone into semi-retirement and their oldest daughter, Kimberly Kean is running the company along with her brother-in-law, Dennis Hamon. Gene Johnson Plumbing is proud of the long-standing tradition of excellence that has been established by Gene and Val. Kimberly and Dennis promise to carry that tradition of excellence into the next generation.
