Description
Jeffrey K. Yenchar, M.D., F.A.C.S. was born in 1966 in Ionia, Michigan. His mother is a school teacher and his father is a monument artist. He has two brothers. He worked on a dairy farm and an apple orchard when he wasn't in school or practicing gymnastics. Immediately after high school he went to Michigan State University where he graduated with honors and earned his BS in 1988. He then moved on to Wayne State University School of Medicine where he earned his MD and graduated with high distinction in 1993. In 1993 he began his postgraduate training at the The Ohio State University. He performed his Internship and Residency in General Surgery as well as one year researching cytomegalovirus. In 1999 he received the OSU Department of Surgery Outstanding Resident Award. During this time he met his wife Angela, a school teacher of developmentally challenged children. After completion of his training at The Ohio State University, Dr. Yenchar and his family settled in Lancaster. Dr. Yenchar has now served the Lancaster community for almost seven years and intends to do so until he retires. His hobbies include biking, playing hockey, and coaching his oldest son's junior hockey league. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as visiting friends and family in Michigan when he is not working. Dr Yenchar became certified by The American Board of Surgery in 2000. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Fairfield County Medical Society, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He is affiliated with Fairfield Medical Center and Riverview Surgery Center. David J. Robertson, M.D., F.A.C.S. was born in 1970 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His mother is a retired school teacher and his father is an orthopedic surgeon. He has 1 brother and 1 sister. His family moved to Tuscon, Arizona in 1977. After graduating from Sabino High School, Dr Robertson went to the University of Arizona where he earned his BA in English in 1993. From there he moved on to the Medical College of Wisconsin and earned his MD in 1998, and he met his wife, Jean, a fellow student. Together they decided to move to Ohio for postgraduate training at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Robertson performed his Internship and Residency at the Ohio State University as well as a Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. Upon completion of their training at OSU, Dr Robertson and his wife settled their family in Lancaster. Dr. Robertson enjoys serving the Lancaster community and intends to do so until he retires from General Surgery. His hobbies include swimming, golfing, and spending time with his wife and children. Dr. Robertson is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Zollinger Surgical Society, the Fairfield County Medical Society, the Ohio State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is affiliated with Fairfield Medical Center and Riverview Surgery Center. MARGARET S. SAWYER, M.D. M.B.A was born in 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
