The resultant Arts and Lecture Series presents nationally and internationally known professional dance, theater and music performances as well as lectures by respected experts in various fields.has received numerous awards for outstanding education programs. All district schools are recognized for educational excellence by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Four district schools earned the Presidential Award for Excellence, and the fifth school was chosen as one of the "Top Ten Schools" in the country by Child Magazine. The District's Art Education Program achieved national recognition from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.believes that technology is central to learning. All schools have been computer and video wired to allow for maximum utilization of technology.
