Description

Gracie joined us in 2011, and is a Teacher in the Infant class. Gracie brings many years of experience in childcare. She is a mother and a grandmother, and has a heart filled with love for our children. Bonnie and Trang share the teaching of our 2 year old "Bears." Both have a love for toddlers, and our children adore them! Amanda and Linda teach our 3 year old "Tigers". They bring a quiet, gentle aspect to our classroom, and help our pre-schoolers as they transition out of toddlerhood. Joy resides with our Lions...literally! Miss Joy teaches our 4 and 5 year olds, and is one of the most creative teachers you'll ever meet! She keeps them learning, singing, trying new things every day. Her camera is always at the ready, and the children love helping her capture images. Eve is our "Floater"...she manages to care for and love all of our children at some point each day as she fills in for teachers taking their lunch breaks. Rounding out our Childcare staff is our Tigard High School student Tessa, who assists our teachers every afternoon.

We are always seeking like-minded, committed individuals with experience in child care and/or experience in senior care.

Miss Joy is the teacher with this age group. She joined our Gentog family in April of 2012. Miss Joy has her degree in Educational Ministries and has many years of experience working with young children. She brings an abundance of knowledge into the classroom and absolutely engages the children in their daily activities.

Gentog understands that care for seniors is about much more than providing a safe and caring environment.

At Gentog we choose to live our Christian faith in service to all generations. We believe that the generations belong together. We provide daily care to seniors and to children, and in doing so we serve the middle generations responsible for them.
