Gentry Family Funeral Services´ philosophy has always been to provide personalized and meaningful services that meet the needs and budget of each family we are privileged to serve. We understand that each family is special and that is why we offer a wide range of services, allowing family members to create a service of remembrance as unique as the individual. Our staff is well versed in the traditions of all faiths and will make every effort to accommodate your wishes. As full service funeral homes, we serve every type of funeral need, whether it be simple or complex.

We do not rent or sell email addresses, postal addresses or telephone contact information to third parties or otherwise share any personally-identifying information we collect with any third parties, except that we reserve the right to transfer personally-identifying information to a business affiliate, distributor, or other entity working on our behalf to serve our customers; to a third party in conjunction with the sale or similar transfer of the company or a business unit; to a third party in connection with legal proceedings and investigations of crimes or other wrongdoing.

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to their own personally-identifying contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them.

In 1994, David B. Gentry, Laura G. Vanhoy, and H.W. Sharpe, Jr. took an opportunity and purchased the former Huff Funeral Home Facility of Jonesville, located at 4517 Little Mountain Road. The facility was remodeled and opened on June 24 of the same year as Gentry Family Funeral Service. In 1996 a decision was made to expand the operations to Yadkinville for a broader service area and to better serve the families located there. Land was purchased at 5108 US Highway 601 and construction began on a new 18000 Square foot facility, which was completed and opened in August of 1997. In 2008, David B.
