Description

Geo-Synthetics, LLC (formerly Surface Maintenance Systems) construction division was founded in 1971. The company's primary business was asphalt repair and seal coating. In 1974, services were expanded to include the installation and distribution of paving grade fabrics manufactured by a well known geotextile supplier. In 1980, an affiliate, Geo-Textile System, Inc. was formed to distribute a full line of geotextile fabrics and erosion control products.

Geosynthetics, LLC offers a wide range of Geosynthetic products that offer a variety of dimensions and properties to ensure proper application on your job site. In addition selections listed on our product pages, GSI also has the capabilities to customize many of the materials you need on the job to fit the dimensions of your specific project. Our trained staff provides in house solutions that include slitting, cutting, and sewing many of the existing geomembrane and geotextile products in our sales line.

A primary liner is then installed over that layer. Finally, another geocomposite is laid over that layer. The geonet or geocomposite that is between the liners is for leak detection, and the geocomposite over the primary liner is for leachate collection and transportation to sumps. In the sumps the leachate can be collected and treated. GSI has vast experience in the supply and installation of these products in landfill applications throughout the country.

As the geosynthetic distribution market grew in 1986, the construction division began installing geomembranes in addition to paving fabrics. The main focus of the geomembrane division is to supply, fabricate and/or install PVC, High Density Polyethylene, XR-5 ® and Polypropylene liners. In the geomembrane construction division we have combined experience in excess of 140,000,000 square feet of membranes.
