I am excited to be meeting with your small business, which has an immediate need for CPA services. My background was in construction industry accounting (for about thirteen years). In the past sixteen years as a home-based CPA firm I had the opportunity to work with a wide array of small business clients. I have been married for 30 years and my wife Teri is my administrative assistant. She does everything from putting the finishing touches on a 1040 return before final review to getting a monthly newsletter mailing out to the post office. We have two children. Matthew, married in 2006, is a web page developer at the Federal Aviation Administration. Emily is a physical trainer and massage therapist. My CPA business has three distinct components . First, as with many CPA firms, is the personal tax practice, the 1040 clients. Second, is the small business client needs, which generally includes write-up services, payroll services and tax compliance. Third is the non-profit audit business, which is comprised of homeowner associations, churches, and other non-profits. I am eager to take a hands-on approach with my small business clients. If you desire, I will visit you at your place of business and address all of your problems and concerns. Problems that cannot be resolved quickly will be addressed in short order. I will find solutions and problems will not go unresolved. To give you an example of my hands-on approach, I will even come to your place of business each month and reconcile your bank statement if that is a concern of yours. Also, as a home-based business my reduced overhead is passed on in fee savings to my clients while maintaining quality work. Since my client list is manageable (never excessive) your work will receive the prompt attention is deserves.
