Georgia Powder Coating got its start in the back of a poultry-processing warehouse. With only two employees, who continue to work at Georgia Powder Coating today, the conveyor line had to be stopped to answer the telephone. When work was slow, they made paint hooks from clothes hangers. As the workload grew beyond what the small staff could handle, they would drive around in search of extra workers. Georgia Powder Coating has come a long way since those days in the warehouse and we now occupy our own facility on Zander Drive in Gainesville. We have an automatic-gun conveyor line for large quantity coating production and we have a batch operation for coating individual orders. The staff has grown as well, to over 30 employees. Georgia Powder Coating looks forward to continued growth and to giving our customers parts Done Right, On Time, Every Time.
