Description

Wm. A. Geppert Inc. was established in 1925 by Wm. A. Geppert Sr. and began as an excavator and hauler for much of the Philadelphia area. Geppert Sr. catered to the needs of the struggling consumer of the Great Depression era and was a revolutionary of sorts, recycling materials from destructed sites and re-selling it at affordable prices for contractors and consumers. As a result of the times, Wm. A. Geppert Inc. was mainly a demolition company and a salvage yard during the early years of existence.
