Description

When working with elders with dementia, it is inevitable that staff will come head to head with "challenging behaviors." This workshop will help staff define what is meant by "challenging behaviors" and learn new ways to approach elders with dementia to promote more "positive behaviors." This approach requires rethinking how we provide care.

Nancy Kriseman is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 30 years of experience and who specializes in working with older people and their families. Nancy maintains a private practice and regularly provides consultation and training to long-term care facilities.
