Mr. Lum has served as the Chief Technical Officer of Giga-tronics since April 2007. Mr. Lum was founder and President of ASCOR Inc. from 1987 to 1996 when it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Giga-tronics. Jeff has over 40 years of experience working in scientific, commercial and defense environments. Jeff and his engineering team pay particular attention to the customer’s needs for reliability and performance including low noise and high density signal switching. Mr. Lum was a founder and Vice President of Autek Systems Corporation, a manufacturer of precision waveform analyzers.

In addition to the large variety of COTS products offered by Giga-tronics ASCOR , we have frequently been called upon to develop custom switching solutions for some of the most prestigious companies in the test and measurement industry who are looking for the highest performance possible. Among our customers are companies like Agilent and Teradyne as well as nearly all of the top Mil-Aero companies.

Jeff has over 40 years of experience working in scientific, commercial and defense environments. Jeff and his engineering team pay particular attention to the customer’s needs for reliability and performance including low noise and high density signal switching. Not just providing “off-the-shelf” solutions, Jeff and his team are very experienced in tailoring an existing design or creating a new one to meet the customer’s specific requirements.

As Vice President of Operations, Fred Gapasin is responsible for the company’s production, supply chain & materials management, quality assurance, service, and manufacturing engineering functions. He joined Giga-tronics in September 2005 as Director of Manufacturing and was appointed to his present position in 2010. Mr. Gapasin began his career at Teledyne Microelectronics as a manufacturing engineer on various medical, space, and military hybrid microcircuit devices.
