Heaven’s Cradle was established in 2011 by Gary and Abby Lackey in memory of their son, Davis Arnold Lackey, who was stillborn. The group is working to remove the silence surrounding infant loss and to ease the suffering of grieving parents and grandparents. Funds raised this year will provide “Grace Bags” for all families delivering in Jackson, an addition to the Serenity Garden at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, start up for Remembering Photography, and facilitated special training for clinical staff working with bereaved families.

Ms. Jessica Farris Salonus is an Associate with the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her primary practice is in labor and employment law handling age discrimination cases, executive pay issues, leave issues under the FMLA and ADA, and wrongful terminations arising from reporting illegal activities and retaliation. However, she has a range of experience in other areas including school discrimination under the IDEA and 504, contractual disputes, insurance coverage issues, and landlord/tenant disputes.

Jonathan Bobbitt is a Partner in the Firm. His primary practice centers around the area of labor and employment , however, he has a broad range of experience in commercial/corporate matters, business entities, contract law, and landlord/tenant disputes. Jonathan holds a B.S.B.A and a M.B.A from Union University and received his law degree from the University of Memphis . While in law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the University of Memphis Law Review and received the Dean’s Award of Excellence for Best Oral Advocate.

Clint Scott is the firm’s managing partner. His key practice areas are representation of insureds in disputes with their insurance companies and prosecution of overtime claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act . He has served as class counsel in multiple consumer class actions in Tennessee and other states and has extensive experience litigating personal injury and worker’s compensation claims for injured parties. Scott is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Kentucky.
