Description

Our founder, Michael Girard, began as a purchasing agent for France under the Marshall Plan at the end of WW II. Europe needed to rebuild, the U.S. provided the materials. We concentrated on rubber products - domestic vendors were expensive and chaotic. We began with a partner in Japan and we fought the negative post-war images of Japan and Japanese products. Over the following decades we have cultivated relationships with partners in Brazil, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
