SPECIAL WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT: The Greensboro Sportsplex will be closing on FRIDAY, January 29th at 4:00 PM and will be closed all day SATURDAY, January 30th due to the projected Winter Weather Warning issued by the National Weather Service. Please return to this website late Saturday or early Sunday for information regarding your hockey programming for Sunday, January 31st. --- Attention 8 & Under and Youth League Division: This message is to inform you of a couple of important items regarding your hockey programming for this coming weekend. As of this email, the Greensboro Sportsplex will be closed all day Saturday, January 30th due to the projected winter storm coming into the Triad area. In regards to your Friday hockey practice schedule (8 and Under at 6:30PM & Youth Division at 7:30PM), as of this message I am planning on being at the Sportsplex unless the projected winter storm enters our area sooner then forecasted. PLEASE check either http://www.greensborosportsplex.com or http://www.girh.com for any Sportsplex cancellations or closings. In regards to your Sunday game schedule (Youth Division at 2:30PM & 8 and Under at 3:30PM), please check either http://www.greensborosportsplex.com or http://www.girh.com for announced Sportsplex closings. Every indication we have right now, the Sportsplex will be open on Sunday as we are hosting a Volleyball Tournament for Adults. If the Sportsplex remains open during your scheduled events (Friday or Sunday) and YOU are unconfortable or unable to get here... DON'T WORRY. We will not count this weekend as part of your Winter Season because of the uncertenty of the upcoming weather forecast.
