With more than 800 members, the GLMV Chamber of Commerce is the largest and most active chamber in Lake County, Illinois. The Chamber is a membership driven organization designed to help our member business and communities achieve their goals. Through the efforts of members and volunteers, the Chamber fosters a competitive business climate focused on growth, prosperity and excellent quality of life. Chamber policies and positions are set by a board that meets monthly. The board sets the Chamber's program of work, which serves as a blueprint to guide the organization. The Chamber also works closely with many governmental bodies, but receives no public funding.
