Family Services, Inc. Over one hundred years ago, a group of caring community members came together to help those who were most in need. This particular group called themselves the Social Services League, and for the next 100 years, they would become the pioneers of social work in the Montgomery County area.

Dr. Daniel Goldman has been with GNSI since 1999. Dan has extensive experience in the design and development of web-based applications, specializing in Java Enterprise technologies and Macromedia ColdFusion. Dan has led projects for a variety of clients including the FDA and NIH. Dan has over 15 years of science research and laboratory management experience, including five years at the FDA combining research with application review, as well as 12 years of experience managing information technology projects.

FDA Science FIRST is an agency-wide portal which enhances FDA science and helps FDA meet its regulatory obligation under FDAMA by collecting the necessary data and information to protect the public health. The system provides state-of-the-art information technology to optimize knowledge management of scientific resources among the different FDA Centers and to facilitate communication among the scientific community. One of the major impacts of Science FIRST is to bring together geographically dispersed information sources.
