Global Environmental Permitting, Inc. (GEPermit) is a certified woman-owned environmental permitting and consulting firm, founded in 2009 by Gulsum Rustemoglu. With our unique and efficient business model, we are able to devote our energy entirely to our clients. Comprised of a dedicated team of environmental and land use planners and several on-call sub-consultants, GEPermit staff has successfully managed assignments of various size and complexity throughout Southern and Northern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Philadelphia, and Connecticut.

She received her Master's in City Planning from San Diego State University and has more than 14 years of experience in project management and CEQA/NEPA planning. She is an awarded Young Planner by the International Society of City and Regional Planners and the Dutch Ministry of Transportation (2004).

This position will provide GIS technical support and mapping for various renewable energy and municipal projects. Position requires at least two years of experience working with ESRI’s ArcGIS suite of software, the ability to read and interpret surveys, aerial/orthophotography, etc., the knowledge of principles and practices of mapping, coordinate systems, projections and scales, strong GIS problem-solving skills., ability to work independently and as part of a team and the ability to write clearly.
