Celebrating our 30 years in the chauffeured transportation industry, Global Limousine looks back on a history of superior service. Early on we built our company and reputation providing transportation for nationally syndicated talk shows and its guests. Celebrities present many challenges in regard to safety and comfort, by servicing their needs on a daily basis we quickly learned many important lessons that helped us become what we are today. November 1972 – Established Esquire Limousine Service Served the guests & celebrities appearing on the Mike Douglas Show September 1978 – Entered a contract agreement with Fugazy Continental Opened Fugazy of California in Los Angeles Operated until 1980 April 1980 – Owned & Operated Dav-El Limousine Services of Philadelphia Under Franchise agreement of 24 years May 1981 – Served as in-house limousine service for The Four Seasons Hotel – Philadelphia – 6 years May 1983 – Opened a branch office Dav-El of Atlantic City, NJ Provided in-house Limousine service for Resorts International Hotel Casino September 1993 – Merger/Purchase Fredricks Limousine Service in Atlantic City, NJ Expanded operation into Bally and Golden Nugget Casinos September 1984 – Founded the Delaware Valley Limousine Operators Association (DVOLA) Held the position as President for several terms totaling 9 years In 1998 DVOLA was renamed the Philadelphia Regional Limousine Association Served as Vice President for the past 4 years August 2002 – Purchased current location near Center City Philadelphia Moved to our 40,000 sqft building October 2003 – Expanded operation by adding Mini-Buses to serve airlines, schools, and event planners April 2004 – Terminated business relations with Dav-El Established Global Limousine Services December 2005 – Purchased Emerald Limousine a Wilmington, DE based company May 2006 – Purchased Admiral Limousine which served the Philadelphia suburban markets January 2007 – Expanded fleet to 45 vehicles May 2009 – Currently operating 42 vehicles providing service to Philadelphia, Wilmington & South Jersey
