1. COURSE TUITION. A tuition fee will be charged to the STUDENT according to the rate established for the county in which the test applies. This fee includes all required instructional materials. 2. COURSE SCHEDULE. The instruction is composed of 10 training units. The course will be available to the STUDENT 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This availability may be affected by circumstances such as, but not limited to, system, site or connectivity failure. The student may be awarded credit for time lost under these circumstances, under the sole discretion of the SCHOOL. 3. COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATION POLICY. The STUDENT agrees to complete all phases of the approved curriculum in order to receive a certificate of completion. Any time missed must be made up. The school is prohibited from issuing a certificate of completion if the STUDENT has not met all the requirements for course completion and a STUDENT shall not accept a certificate under such circumstances. 4. GRADING AND PROGRESS POLICY. The STUDENT agrees that they may not be certified or given credit for a defensive driving course unless they score 80% or higher on the final exam. Alternative testing techniques for students with reading, hearing or learning handicaps and policies for re-testing students who score less than 80% will be: a) review of material; b) translation, if necessary or possible; and c) re-testing, verbally if necessary. 5. RULES OF OPERATION AND CONDUCT. The STUDENT agrees that HE/SHE, and not any other person, will study the material in its entirety and complete the chapter quizzes and the final exam. It is illegal to circumvent the state-approved course or provide false information. If the course administrator discovers the STUDENT has misrepresented himself or has cheated, the STUDENT will be stopped from taking the course with no refund of the registration fees. In addition, the STUDENT may be prosecuted for perjury and other criminal acts which are punishable by a maximum of a 10-year prison term and a $10,000 fine. 6. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. It is not accepted in all court jurisdictions. If a defendant uses the course outside of the approved courts and the certificate is not observed, there will be NO REFUND.
