In January of 1971 the company relocated to Barnegat, New Jersey. The focus of the company was to provide an automatic anchoring system for the pleasure boating industry. Prior to this time, automatic anchor windlasses were not a commonly supplied item to this industry as they are today. The company recognized this and introduced a completely new automatic free-drop rope anchor windlass that revolutionized the anchoring methods for the pleasure boater.
