Description

Mrs. Goodstitch began unofficially in Land Oa Lakes, Florida 30 years ago when Mrs. Kaple, alias Mrs. Goodstitch, and her husband opened Interior Outlet, a store specializing in home treatments. Per customer request and for time efficiency, they decided to make bedspreads in-house. They soon discovered the custom treatments were more popular than the spreads they had been ordering. After a successful period at Interior Outlet, she and her husband decided to retire in 1988. They sold their land and moved their extensive equipment, which includes several working vintage sewing machines from the 1950s, to South Carolina.
