Grande Masonry mechanics are highly skilled at all forms of historic brick masonry restoration. We have extensive experience in tuckpointing of joints, replacing and rebuilding brick, brick matching, brick cleaning, retrofit anchoring and stabilization, and mortar selection and matching.
Grande Masonry employs some of the best stonemasons available anywhere. Our craftsmen have comprehensive training and experience in all types of stone, including limestone, sandstone, granite, marble, and terra cotta. Expertise includes Jahn repair mortars, Dutchmen, replication and replacement, retrofit anchoring, and structural repair. We also have vast experience in cleaning, consolidation, and historic coatings.
As Vice President, Restoration Division, Mark is responsible for all construction activities in Grande Masonry’s extensive restoration program. Mark has directly organized and run the three largest and most comprehensive historic restoration projects that have been performed in Massachusetts in the last decade. His duties include establishing all construction means and methods, manpower scheduling, quality control assurance, and implementation and maintenance of all safety programs.
